I'd like to try and utilize this module, but can't seem to find documentation on how to make it work. I want to display pdf files that are local and secure on my server, not open on the internet. Please point me in the right direction.

You just need to create and attach a filed of type "file" then select display options and you will find PDF Reader as an option for display.

Got it working, using the google docs to render the file. Does anyone know how to make the pdf printable?

I known this may seem dumb, but because of these comments I know how to do in-site pdfs. Here's the dumb part, I still don't have a clue how this works for outside pdfs. Please help.

AlanO, the module is designed to work with file uploads so no external pdf support yet. May be I can consider implement this in the future or if someone implements it I'll be glad to apply the patch.

Thanks for considering it. I'm creating a site which is connected to an old group from the 30's or even 20's(their pre-group group) which is a non-profit and they have huge amounts of image and text pdfs from places like archive.org. This modules is great for the in-site pdfs, but I would really appreciate the extended functionality to include outside links as well. This module is exactly what I'm looking for. I'll be basing the entire site off this...as a research library.

I do have an additional request. Is it possible to create a fluid formatting option for the width? I'm basically creating an archive that's listed kinda like a grid and when selected I just want the whole pdf render to take up all the space that is available cause I use a fluid theme.
