There are several instances of fieldable entities in Drupal 7. This module would have a farther range if it tested for completeness of fields in an entity or bundle. This would also eliminate the need for Profile Complete in Drupal 7.

That is a great suggestion. So far I made a direct port of the module from D6 to D7, but the module could mature in D7 be checking fields in entities instead of fields in nodes. I have no direct plans to start working on such a project, but I'd be willing to coordinate.
