Ouch. That's totally my fault. I branched off the master branch and created a new 6.x-1.x branch, but forgot to push that to the Drupal git servers and edit the 6.x-1.x-dev release to point at that new branch.

I've done that now. So the -dev should be fixed when it is re-created sometime in the next 12 hours.

FYI, I've checked and 6.x-1.x-dev and 6.x-1.0 are identical. The only difference is that 6.x-1.0 has the old CVS $Id$ tags still in them.

The file is empty again. Not sure if I should be reactivating this issue or creating a new one.

Actually, looking at the node for 6.x-1.x-dev release, I see that it hasn't been updated since August 23, even though I changed the branch from "master" to "6.x-1.x" on September 14.

I just pushed a commit to see if I can force the tarball to be re-created in the next 12 hours. The current filesize is 6kb for the download which is the size of the "master" branch's README. It should be closer to 14kb (the size of the 7.x-1.x-dev download).
