I posted earlier about the hidden menu in the port to D7. I was mistaken, the sub menus have no bottom padding. i've tried to get it right, but can't seem to get it to wrk well. if I add padding, i get the bg image, ect.

I've attached a picture of the drops as they are with no changes. can anyone help me alter the correct classes to fix this?

I'm unable to reproduce the issue.

I noticed you are using a different/bigger font and white colored font for submenu.
So the padding problem is most likely a cause of that.
