I'm trying to get a block to display on a certain content type only for certain roles and display for all roles on other content types. Changing the role in one doesn't change the other but when I change the content type in the original or instance it effects the other.

The block in question is the 'Author Pane' and I had to add in PHP to make it multiblock enabled. Any ideas? Thanks!

Just because the block is multi-block enabled, doesn't mean the settings are. That takes code in the block.
