Problem is on a D7 site running core plus bot - no other modules. Cron fails with a memory allocation error - Allowed memory size of x bytes exhausted (tried to allocate y bytes)
Disabled cron call in bot_api (just renamed cron function for now) and cron runs fine.

Was going to subscribe to this, but seems it is not part of the normal package. See: #1061292: Bot API

bot_api isn't in the bot module package (yet).
