Hi there,
I just installed quickstart 1.0 and moved an existing project to quickstart. I used quickstart-create dns and apache for the settings.
When I try to connect to the site, the site seem to load endlessly and the whole memory of the virtual machine is used (see attached screen shot). Has someone the same effect and a solution for it?

Best regards
Alex

And after that the system won't start up again right? Or has filesystem issues?

Having the same issue I think. Although for me it usually happens after a few days.

Host system is ubuntu 11.04 with Ext4 filesystem. Virtualbox forums lead me to believe this is relevant info.

Hi, this is something to do with the virtual computer.

Try updating to the newest version of Virtualbox (even if that's the Oracle version). If that doesn't work, check out the Virtualbox forums and post back if you find anything!

My problem was a runaway prces due to file corruption. It is a somewhat obscure bug, which only occurs on ext4 host filesystem.
Upgrading to 4.0.12 virtualbox AND ENABLING 'Use Host I/O cache' (in settings -> storage => controller that host the disk image ) seems to have solved the problem for me.
Will have to see if it lasts, though. So far 2 days without corruption though.

Will report back in couple of weeks.

Awesome! Thanks! That's definitely going to help someone else.
