Hey,
I'm using the Content Taxonomy module with Taxonomy Tree to let teachers specify what national standards their lessons fall under. This can vary in detail and national standards for education is a very large expandable list in which taxonomy tree has been WONDERFUL to work with in regards to this. Here's an example of what a teacher checked in node edit view:
- Science
- 9 -12
- NS.9-12.3 Life Science
- The cell
- Molecular basis of heredity
- Biological evolution
- NS.9-12.3 Life Science
- 9 -12
Is there a way I can make it look just like the above in my node view? Currently it's shown like the following by default when I select "as text" in the display:
Science
9 -12
NS.9-12.3 Life Science
The cell
Molecular basis of heredity
Biological evolution
It gets even muddier if the lesson crosses into something outside of a category like science or covers multiple benchmarks in multiple standards within an age group. An "as tree" display option would be TOTALLY AWESOME! :D
Secondary challenge: sometimes teachers don't select parent check boxes. Is this a concern?
Let me know if there's a good spot in the module I can start tinkering with. I'm happy to roll up my sleeves and submit a patch if I could trouble you to point me in the best direction to get started. :)
Best regards,
Chris
