I have been using the XMPP_Messaging module, integrated with the XMPP Framework module, and it works just great. But I have little confidence that the XMPP Framework module will be ported to Drupal 7 and beyond. The DXMPP module looks more promising.

Are there any plans to integrate xmpp_messaging with the DXMPP module?
