Would like to know how the user/register page is pieced together. I'm trying to move the "welcome message" below the "Account Information" block to the area above the "Account Information" block on the registration page. See http://www.minocquakawaga.org/?q=user/register .

What file(s) are needed to be edited?

you dont have to edit .

please create new module

and use HOOK_form_alter to add new item to register form
