First of all, thanks for the work on this module, it's exactly what I need for my site. I am having a hard time understanding the instructions for installation on a site that already has Organic Groups in use. Is there a release in sight? If so, I willing to help in any way I can.

Hrmm... I completely agree the documentation on this is lousy.
Basically each group needs a top level book attached to it. Probably the easiest way to do this is to create a bunch of top-level book pages yourself as the admin, one for each group, and then in the og_book table, insert some SQL to match the book pages you've created to the organic groups.
Another issue is that the OG module changes slightly, and some of the functionality of this module seems to be tied to the original OG module, and I doubt it works perfectly for here.
However, at some stage my partner and I will be upgrading our site to Drupal 5.0 and presumably then we will update this module to make it work properly with Og groups.
