Hi Alex,

In a word no. My gut feeling is that machine names only make sense for content structures, while individual pieces of content (such as nodes, or in this case terms) would be better served by UUIDs (for the purpose of deployment issues at least).

Taxonomy terms are in a bit of a grey area in that they are often used to categorize other pieces of content. However, at this time, I don't see terms not having machine names as a problem that needs a machine name solution. Definitely open to other thoughts!

For examle I would like to use term machine name for product categories in url

products/2/filter1=fname,fname2;sort=action;view=tile

But i dont like "products/2..." part of my url, it would be better to use "products/books...". It makes the sense if the term name is "Книги"
