The attached broken screenshot shows the layout if I have nothing in the Content region. It's the same too if I assign the Main Content block to another region, like the footer. The Content region disappears. Even if I force the Content region to be rendered in Omega settings, it still doesn't appear.

The fixed screenshot shows the layout if I assign some other block (here I used Search) to the Content region.

Why is the layout getting messed up in the first example?
