How do I add/allow students and teachers?

I am at a loss. I have the Classroom module and Signup modules enabled.

A student logs in and clicks "Sign Up." It says that the request will be handled as soon as possible.

Then, how do I allow that student to join the class? No matter what I do, I can't figure out how to add students to the class myself, or accept their requests. Help!!
