If you get blocked and then whitelist yourself, the redirect should not be to the frontpage but to the originally intended page.
I believe one could use the destination parameter for this.

bryrock commentedI've looked into this and it's quite tricky. It cannot be done the "drupal" way, because Drupal is not actually loaded until you get to the whitelist page.

killes@www.drop.org commentedI was thinking to simply add the destination parameter in the originl URL when redirecting to the whitelist form. When you then submit the form and get whitelisted (Drupal is surely loaded then) you should get redirected to the original URL.
