I am reading the Gallery2 install and having some problems.

I have placed gallery2 in directory drupal/modules/gallery2

In step2 of installation

Ensure that "Image Block" and "Image Frame" modules are installed and activated in Gallery2.

How do you activate these in Gallery2?

I am on my ftp server and host site and I have access to the module folders.

In gallery2/modules there are the imageblock and imageframe folders.

What is the activation sequence?

How do you deactivate the Registration module?
How do you determine if the registration module is active?

Any help is much appreciated.

Login to your standalone (not embedded) Gallery2 and browse to the 'Site Admin' > 'Plugins'. There you can enable/disable all modules. Please read http://drupal.galleryembedded.com/ and the Gallery2 documentation at http://codex.gallery2.org/ for some basic instructions and more details ...

Profix898, these instructions worked for me. You need to get in and download the plugins that you need from with Gallery2 (not embedded), save your config in drupal, and it will work. At least it did for me.
