Test http://drupal.org/project/taxonomy_theme as a means for extending the theme-switching features of MySite without duplicating code and functionality.

On the MySite > Settings > Theme page, users would be prompted to either configure or download the Taxonomy_Theme module, with instructions for integrating with MySite.

Pending testing of the Taxonomy_Theme module.

This module won't quite work, since it doesn't allow user wildcards into its configuations.

There are a number of good ideas here to copy, though.

Also need to ensure that MySite does not conflict with Taxonomy_Theme.
