multiple languages on frontpage

I would like to display the "teasers" of pages "promoted to front page" to be simultaneously displayed on the front page, whatever be their language.
Is this possible ?

(I have a "welcome page" translated in several languages, and want the "snippet" of them to be displayed as the default page (q=node). Currently, localizer seems to eliminate all teasers which are not of the selected language. Is it possible to de-activate the corresponding function for the frontpage ?)
