does Drupal offer any URL tracking system? i want to give someone a URL to my site and simply track the # of clicks i get. i searched the contributed modules and didn't see anything. curious if Drupal doesn't do it, what other people use, ideally for free.

How about user referral or Affiliate or Click Thru Tracking?

Click Thru Tracking is pretty good! The Drupal 6 dev version works well.
