it appears that the presence of check box fields in profiles causes the module to behave erratically, such as more than one check box in a group only listens to ONE check box and UN-clicking a check box doesn't remove the relevant percentage from the completion stats.

Patches are welcome. I can't reproduce this in D7 (works fine) and I won't be working on D6 anymore if the same problem doesn't occur in D7 as well.
I'll be happy to review and commit patches though.

I'm cleaning up the issue queue by removing D6 issues. If there is a ready-to-be-committed-patch I'm happy to do so. If so, please re-open.
