Hi,

Let me first thank the creator of this Wonderful module, it has made life simpler for teachers like me.

However I am facing with an issue, I have configured gradebook taxonomy with 3 classes and 4 subjects/categories. Students have roles based on class and teachers bases on subjects. when student go to gradebook they see there own grade, all well and fine but When teacher visit the gradebook page they see all the students from all classes. It should only show based on role set. Have I missed a configuration? Please help.

Are you using organic groups to setup the different classes? If so, you can use the og_gradebook module to have a separate gradebook for each group. With this configuration, teachers see only the students who are members of the group. Without og_gradebook, all users with the teacher role can see all the gradebooks - kindof limited, but that's why we have the og_gradebook module...

On the gradebook settings page it says "Any student and teacher roles selected here will apply to ALL gradebooks. If you are using the OG_Gradebook module, do not select any names here and gradebooks will be formed by group membership. Otherwise, any roles selected here will appear in the gradebook for each group."

Hi Thanks for the quick reply.

I went through the route OG and OG grade book. But due to its complexity and not achieving desire results, left that.

I have achieved almost what we need using taxonomy but the list of students from every class under teacher login is what I am trying to tackle.

Perhaps there is a simple code need to be placed in Gradebook module to achieve viewing the Gradebook according to the role. Due to lack of coding knowledge I can't do it.

Can you please guide me forward?
