It plays on and on, and doesn't stop. This also happens in the stable release of the module, which is why I decided to use the dev but that too is having the same issue. I am using firefox, how can this be fixed?

Well it seems to have resolvved itself today, the next day. Now its working and can play and pause video. Im using Media - youtube

That is strange.... curious if YouTube had a hiccup in the API player service.

Maybe because even when refreshing cache yesterday the video wouldn't pause.

Hey guys,

I'm running into a bit of a bump here. I've looked through the controls - at this point, when I play the video, clicking it will not pause it - I am using the media module and playing Youtube videos. any ideas where I should start to fix this? Thanks a bunch.

Also, when the video is in full screen mode it isn't pausing either... :/

I think the issue is in Firefox. It is working in Chrome and IE 8. But I am getting this issue in Firefox. I am using Firefox 8 in ubuntu.

Is everyone here on Ubuntu? I can't seem to reproduce this on my machine. I am on a Mac, but may try different OS's to see if I can reproduce, and fix.
