File: profiles/drupal_commons/features/commons_core/commons_core.theme.inc
Inside the above file there is a function: theme_commons_core_info_block() that adds items into the footer on Commons. This includes the Fusion message stating "Theme by TopNotchThemes".
This can be overridden of course in a themes template.php file, but shouldn't the function be overriden to add this text only on the themes created by TNT, that way other theme creators do not have to manually change it for each theme they create?
This function also prints the Acquia footer message, which I understand, but I feel that not all themes will be created for Commons by TNT.
What do you think?

I do guess that the Acquia Commons and TopNotch did not consider at that time that it will be soon an interest arising for more Commons Theme out of that already included so I think they will consider changing that state of fact as soon some more Commons Themes will be offered by. IMHO meantime it will be good if there can be an option for disabling that info_block at list.

japerryIn all likelihood, this issue was fixed in a later version, but since Since we only support 6.x-2.12 and 7.x-3.x, marking this as won't fix. Feel free to re-open if you find this to be in error
