It seems this module acts somehow like realtime applications, as it is seconds based.

Then it would be a good choose for performance for using Node.js, while users may not always have memcache in the backend.

While the use of nodejs for sending only one event would be overkill in my opinion it would be an interesting thing.

That said it is in the "works" but its not prioritized.
