Can you provide a bit more detail? I am not able to replicate this. For instance, are there are any messages when you enable the Media module? Do you see any errors in the log (admin/reports/dblog)?

Try updating to the latest version of Media. Please reopen this issue if your problem persists and, as robeano mentioned, provide as much feedback as possible.
