Fatal error: Call to a member function getName() on a non-object in video.install on line 2

After updated to the new September 8, 2011 7.x-2.x-dev version I got the white screen of death in the /admin/config page. When I turn the error reporting on in the index.php, I saw the below error:

Fatal error: Call to a member function getName() on a non-object in /var/www/xxx/sites/all/modules/video/video.install on line 240

even disabled the module -> uninstall it -> re-enable again does not solve the problem. Updating the database does not show any table need to be updated.
