hi,
i am in the process of changing the default theme for one of my sites (http://kjg.sanktlaurentius.org) and for that i wanted to use the primary links in the header and secondary links on the left side.
I installed menu_trim.module and configured it.
It is almost working. Just one problem left.
When go to one of the primary links (e.g. "KjG St. Laurentius") the menu opens on the left side. Thats fine.
But when i then click on one of the items on the left that have sub-items (e.g. "Aktionen"). It does not pop up like on the normal menu. Even when i go to one of the sub items (e.g. "/aktionen/Sternsinger" which is a sub-menu-item of "Aktionen") it does not open.
Can someone help me with that.
I use drupal 5.1 and Menu Trim 5.x-1.x-dev
The block on the left ist the (menu trim) block of the menu and the menu Strukture looks like this:
Start
KjG St. Laurentius
- Über uns
- Aktionen
- Gruppenstunde
- Johannisfeuer
- Nikolausaktion
- Offenes Zimmer

- Betreuer

fixed
hi,
i just fixed it.
The problem was that some of the menu items where in two menus.
The second menu was not enabled (the block was not enabled) but I think it was found by the function that builds the menu somehow.
I think this should be considered a bug and I will report it.
I solved the problem by deleting the other menu (which was a pain because the items are not deleted recursively but pop up to the higher level or menu/1 when you delete the parent-item).
hey
I'm sorry but I'm having a hard time understanding you, you could make your sentences longer and/or explain in different ways.
Try this module Menu Restricter and please report the bug if you also find it there.
