I just installed and setup up a map. It currently does not show any transparency on the marker or the google logo, leaving annoying white boxes. This is on both Safari and Firefox on a Mac. Please see screenshot:

I've seen something like this before - it's caused by using max-width:100% on img tags in a theme. This messes up the display of the images used in the gmap. I'll close this, as I don't think it's an issue in locationmap.
