I think a Subscription Terms of Service is desperately needed for each subscription. There needs to be a checkbox indicating user acceptance of the terms, and if they do not check this, the subscription cannot commence.
I've got a site I was going to take live, but without this option, I'll have to wait.

Steel Rat commentedAs a workaround, is there a simple way I can at least include a text file with terms of service in the subscription signup page?
Steel Rat commentedHmm, well, this is disappointing.
Steel Rat commentedI guess this module is no longer supported.
LeeMcL commentedIt is supported and I will get to this but I've been a swamped by a product launch recently.

Steel Rat commentedHi Lee.
Thanks very much for the Terms and Conditions! One problem, it only allows 2000 chars. Can I change the field type in the database to increase this? The legal form I typed in is almost 4k chars...
Thanks!
Jeff

LeeMcL commentedI've just updated the version in HEAD to have those fields as unlimited.
Steel Rat commentedThanks! I'll check it out immediately and report back here.

Steel Rat commentedStill shows the last updated files as 06/14/2007, does it take a while to update?
Steel Rat commentedI see the Head date is now July 20, but none of the files inside the archive have been updated. I applied the files anyway, and the limitation is still there...

Steel Rat commentedI know I'm being a pain. But there's another problem. The ToS doesn't follow normal formatting, all text just runs together. Line breaks are not recognized, nor are HTML tags of any kind that I've tried. I think this should be like any other Node edit box with appropriate Input Format controls, or at least defaulting to Filtered HTML for the basic formatting.
I REALLY appreciate your efforts on this!
