I am setting up a website on www.authorpool.com, in a sub-directory, using drupal 5.1.

(this install shows up as www.authorpool.com/authorpool).

I have installed the module fivestar, enabled it. In my chosen theme I get only radio buttons but clicking submit does not send a vote at all, you can click around all day long in the boxes without effect.

In bluemarine theme I see the stars but no submit button appears.

I have read through the forums and noted no solution to fivestar not working. i have noted a lot of posts mentioning no "settings" for the module, which I also do not see.

Can anyone help with this ?

Thanks

sean

Hello,

I installed this morning the Voting API 5.x-1.6 and Fivestar 5.x-1.13 in a test site where I'm trying to put together the set of features that I will need in a site I'm designing. Eventually the rating widgets showed up but I don't understand the issues why it does now and it didn't before. You can see this site here:
http://www.aprenderenred.net/drupal/idiomas58/en/resources/journals/ariadne

As you see, I'm using the Zen Classic theme

I've configured a couple of content types to allow ratings (one default, Story, and one created with CCK) but nothing was displayed. Also, when I tried to change the widget appearance in the Fivestar settings I had an error message stating that changes could not be done in two CSS files inside the fivestar folders because of "problems in destination".

I've been around in forums and found a post commenting some problems when using the img_assist module. I'm not using this module but the Image module. I just disabled this module, came back to the settings of the content types, found that the option "Enable Fivestar rating" was not marked (bizarre, I'm sure I did marked it) and now it's working.

However, there is some issues. First, when I go to Fivestar settings, all the layout of the site is messed up. Secondly, since I installed these two modules, all block settings disappear when I change the theme.

I'm going to uninstall Fivestar 5.x-1.13 and come back to Fivestar 5.x-1.12 that I have tried in another site, that has not the big amount of add-ons of these one, and worked fine. Will report later if I find any interesting issue.
