I am using 1.9 and imported my comments from drupal to Disqus. All of my comments are showing up in Disqus (see attachment). The problem ... they're not showing up on the node. So the comments are there, but not being displayed. See screen shot of disqus and it's associated link on the site in question for more info

shane birley commentedI can confirm this is happening. Just need to determine why the node reference appears to fail on the Disqus end. The export appears to function but the comments don't appear on the site.

shane birley commentedTracking this down with the help of @disqus.

URL Mapping
The Disqus doesn't seem to understand URL aliasing. Still tinkering...
branana commentedIt looks like Disqus embed will send the alias or picks up the alias as the URL, and will not work with comments associated with the node/[nid] urls (which export works on)
digitalfrontiersmediaClosing this since Shane Birley points out the solution is with URL Mapping on the DISQUS.com admin side.

kstrauser commentedVisiting Admin -> Tools -> Migrate Threads -> Redirect Crawler (Advanced) will cause Disqus to crawl your site and associate your comment threads with their correct pages. Within 5 minutes of clicking the "Start Crawling" button, most of my site's comments were showing up.
