I want my admin users to be able to create a page which has a list of stories attached to it. Normally I'd use a Taxonomy Filter to sort this, but my users want to do it themselves and aren't skilled in the ways of Drupal...

Is it possible to create a content type that when created by an admin asks you to...

1. Name the page
2. Add some introductory content
3. assign a term to filter by
4. and add a nice "add story here" tab to the displayed page so that auhenticated users can easily add another story to it, which automatically gets assigned to the pages term to filter by?

Or is this a module kind of thing?

I'm wondering if you mean a lightbox sort of functionality? Because I am in desperate need of this.

I would like to create a new content type called "collection" and using CCK, have a field that I can fill with node IDs.

Then as a viewer is browsing the nodes they can always choose to "add to collection", select which of their collections they wish to add it to, and add it in.

While viewing a collection the user would see all the nodes listed out plus an option to add an "update" which is really just a blog entry, but the node ID would be stored in the collection thus making it a part of the collection as well.

This way users could keep a running list of content that they find valuable to them and explain their selections with the updates.

I have many more ideas on this subject.. but that's enough for now..

any ideas?

The individual parts shouldn't be too hard to put together though, if you know how to write modules or are willing to learn.

I doubt someone has already written it though (I could be wrong - it's really hard to keep up with new Drupal modules these days).
