What about having the possiblity to select also the role for the user options.
Maybe this feature #1253776: Add views support for providing a list of entities or bundles (views filtering, relationships, etc) could provide the solution.

Yes, I think going with #1253776: Add views support for providing a list of entities or bundles (views filtering, relationships, etc) is definitely the way to go. Since that issue already has approval from the maintainer, let's continue there.
