Using the Relation Entity Collector block

The Relation Entity Collector block module provides your site with a simple user interface for creating relations manually. To use it, you must have at least one relation type set up and also placed the block in one of the regions on your Drupal site.
The method for using the Relation Entity Collector block is as follows:
- Browse to a page showing an entity you want to include in the relation.
- In the Relation Entity Collector block, select the relation type you want to create in the relation type select list.
- In the Relation Entity Collector block, select the entity you want to add in the entity select list. (The block recognizes all entities loaded on the page.) Hit the pick button to add it to a temporary list.
- If necessary, browse to another page and add more entities. The Relation Entity Collector block will list all entities added so far, and keep these between page loads.
- Once you have added all the relevant entities, hit the create relation button to create a new relation. A message announcing the successful creation should appear, also holding a link to the page for the new relation.
Some notes:
- If you for any reason want to remove items from the temporary list, hit the clear button.
- If you are creating a directional relation, make sure to add the source at the top of the list.
- The Relation Entity Collector block is not intended to be an end-user tool, but a tool for developers and site builders to test out Relation functionality. Feel free to come up with great ideas for Relation creation widgets – finding generic and easy-to-use user interfaces is difficult.
