Description
Can we have the basic e-card features like below, please :
1) Choice of multiple recepients
2) Ability of a recepient to see a card even if s/he is non-registered ?
3) Option to the sender to get notification when the card is seen for the first time only
4) Ability to hide the galleries of ecard in the general gallery thumbnail display page

misty3, thanks. I will look at these when I get time to do features. I'm moving this to 5.x dev though since I won't add new features to older versions.

please consider the version for 4.7x too
as 5x still do not offer any performance benefit apart from admin interface as well as log in troubles continue - looks like 4.7x as of now is a very stable and well finctioning one for medium range sites at least and will continue to be so for the next 2 to 3 years or even more as max no of sites are built around this.

Just a note about #2 in the list, this is already possible. There is a permission of view postcards that can be assigned to anon users.

I'd be happy to put some money towards a bounty for these features to be added if someone is interested in doing it.
The main things i want is the ability to have flash files and the sender notification system.
I'd also be happy to put some time into it myself as i've written the notification stuff on a non php system before.
Would be great if we could get this module more feature complete.

I've split these out into separate issues so each feature request can have its own discussion so please continue there. I'm not sure what number 4 above really means so if we could get some clarification on that, that would be great. Please make a new issue for it and link back to here.

After folks have a chance to see the new issues and carry the discussion there, I'll close this issue.
Re: using Flash in Postcard there is an issue for this already (http://drupal.org/node/129690) which was marked to won't fix. Postcard relies on Image module so until either a) Image supports flash or b) postcard is rewritten to use other kinds of nodes and gallery organization, that won't happen. I do not have time to do that work right now, even with a bounty, but if anyone else is interested in working on that, feel free to reopen that issue and I will happily review patches.
