I am starting a nice blog. It is a one person site. Now I am wondering should I use the page content type for posting comments or the blog content type?

What benefits willl the blog content type give me that the page content type doesn't have?

Hi reed.r, the blog module is not really designed to be used for single-user blogs. Actually story would probably be the best choice. You can also check out this Site Recipe page: http://drupal.org/node/41373.
