pager missing on node teaser list pages in my drupal 5.1 live site

the site is updated to drupal 5.1 from 4.7. all fine, except with the pagers...
any node teaser list on the site don't have pager, even the node lists created with views module dont show pager.
only on search result pages, pager is shown.
i tried the site theme on my fresh drupal 5.1 test site,no issue with pager,
so, i think its not the theme causing this issue,
please help

'/blog'
'/profile'
but, the search results page do have pagers,
what can be the problem?

I wonder if the teasers on the /blog and /profile pages contain unclosed elements and this is causing the pager not to display properly. Can you see the pager in the page HTML source?
