I need to use form_alter on the widget but it has already been rendered.
Drupal 7 rendering is about building up render arrays which can be altered and then the whole lot is rendered at the end.
Would be a good exercise!

multiselect-7.x-1.x is no longer supported, because Drupal 7 is no longer supported.

Can you confirm if this is still an issue in multiselect-2.0.0-beta4?
