Auth Cache causes Access Denied errors for logged in Users

Issue Summary

I know there are incompatibility issues with Authcache and some authentication components of my setup and I think this is what's causing it.. I receive the error when I install telling me this but I was hoping it wouldn't effect me too badly but unfortunately I was not so lucky.

With Authcache enabled my users frequently(but not allt he time) experience an 'Access Denied' error message as if they werent' logged in when they click on my sites logo to go to our CMS' home page.. However if they click on a navigation link to take them to the forums, or somewhere else then everything works just fine
