Cannot redirect to subdomain

Forgive me if I am creating an issue that already exists but I have been searching for hours and cannot find a solution.
I currently have the following modules enabled on my site:
*Domain Access
*Front Page
*Login Destination

I have selected to redirect to 'internal page or external URL', and within this field I have put the full path of my subdomain, (ex. http://one.example). However, when I login the page is preserved so I am directed to a page in my domain. Is this a problem anyone has come across before? Can't a be directed to my subdomain using Login Destination? Thanks for the help!!!
