Perhaps it doesn't need to be there, but "jstools.module" was missing from the 5.x-0.4 package I downloaded today, and jstools was not showing up on my modules page after I uploaded the package to my /modules directory. Replacing the 5.x-0.3 version did the trick, but now Available Updates reports that it's still out-of-date. I could probably make that go away by editing the .info or .module files, but I'm more concerned that other things may occur.

dnewkerk commentedIt's not working for me either. On a local copy that had 5.x-0.3 already enabled, I updated, but the site would no longer load until I deleted the jstools folder. I had a different Drupal 5 install as well which had no jstools yet - I installed it in that one, and the site was ok, but the Jstools module was not listed, just the specific sub-modules, and none could be checked since they depend on jstools.

vm commentedchecking the query first would have provided you with this issue: http://drupal.org/node/127806
which was already addressed by nedjo. Unfortunatly, it does not looks like the JSTools core.module has been rolled yet. In meantime revert back to 0.3 until it is sorted out, and the proper package is releaed.

psi-borg commentedyah, nice to know that after 'update' - tried to roll back to *.3 (both mysql and fileset) and now none of the jstools work.
none of the drupal mods update mysql server, just the db, n'est-ce pas?
not as queer as andy dick, but still, very queer.

havoc commentedsomebody poke me when this is fixed. I miss my active menus....
You've spoiled me rotten. now to taunt me like this. Life is so unfair!

Dan DG commentedI, too, updated to 5.x-0.4 before this issue was posted, I've since gone back to 5.x-0.3 while a fix is in the making.
Everything is working for me now, except that the '+' and '-' icons for the activemenu.module no longer show (the menus still expand and contract correctly as before) and the icon to launch the jscalendar doesn't show either (the link is still there and clicking it launches the jscalendar ok, the image just doesn't show for some reason).

vm commentedThe proper files are in the JsTools CVS account and can be downloaded individually through the CVS interface. http://cvs.drupal.org/viewcvs/drupal/contributions/modules/jstools/
