I don't know if this is possibly connected (just tell me if it could be connected),
but after instaling the module the update manager goes very slow.
Does it have to do with the ajax nature of update manager and the js aggregation of this module?

Is it 100% safe to use this module? Does it change anything at the standard core databases?
If I disable it, does the system come back as it was?
