Simple theme with dropdown menu

Hi folks:

I'm redesigning my department's web site and saw by chance the site of the Department of Molecular Biology at Princeton (http://www.molbio.princeton.edu). Guys, it rocks! I would like to make something like that with Drupal 5 (their site is built with Joomla). I've looked at the themes page and found nothing appropiate. The nokoala theme seems to look similar but when I install it in Drupal 5 it's a complete mess. I haven't seen either the dropdown transparent menus in Drupal nor even a simple dropdown menu (at MolBio they use the JA TransMenu module for Joomla).

Can you help me, please?

Sergio

I'm interested as well

Looking for something better than nice menus. Although, nice menus has treated me well so far.

Try porting it

Go to Joomla and port that theme.

Porting Help

stuartgoff - March 16, 2007 - 15:56

I have taken a look at this module and would be interested in porting this to Drupal but my newbie status has me a little cautious. It's also under a creative commons license which I don't think would be violated by a Drupal port available free of charge. I have contacted the author to get some information. Any help on porting from Joomla to Drupal would be appreciated.

I will also post this as a new issue to see if I can get some more exposure.

Nancy - I love your Cookbook for Newbies (I should be getting rid of that moniker soon as I've done 2 multisites [4 total] and 3 others in Drupal) I've bookmarked it as a valuable resource.
