Would it be possible to add a bit more instructions to the readme file? Specifically it would be very helpful to know where to assign the column widths.

It would be very slick if these widths could be defined in the theme settings.

The grid system uses the Get Skeleton Framework...

You don't define your grid column sizes in the theme - you COULD do it in a subtheme override, but you'd have to adjust all the screen size variants too.
