Hello all,

as said in the title, new install of 7.8 and the text module is not installed and can not be ticked either, just a grey box. This (supposedly) causes the problem that when I click on "add content" the "body" field doesn't show up at all.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Solved, a friend of mine sent me this link to a solution. http://adamrohacs.com/node/5

This solution is namely installing a module called CKeditor. This now allows me to create and add new content in the same way as Word works, very simple and straight forward. CKeditor is "What you see is what you get" editor, meaning that you will see all the changes you make immediatelly. Drupal also uses now this module in other areas where it needed a text module, for example for a forum.

Hopefully this helps other people who have the same problem.
