Hi,

I want to set up a petition on my site, but I'm not sure what would be the best approach.

The petition module is - as far as I can see - only supported in civic

the webforms module is a good bet - only thing is that I have some problems displaying the results the way I like.

CCK might be the only way, but I'm not really sure how to do it. I can create a contenttype which presents a signing-form, but the more technical stuff - like avoiding double-posts and presenting the results, I have no idea how to do...

I would love some pointers, if anyone can spare a few minutes - just point me in the right direction, if you can.

CivicActions is going to be releasing a new module shortly that enables some very rich petition functionality. It works with or without CiviCRM. We hope to get it cleaned up and released next week.

It could be very very useful for a petition in a site against the ipred2 european directive we're building. Can you post it even if beta?

If your interested in seeing what we're up to, check out hte SignIt module (http://drupal.org/project/SignIt) There are some issues in the queue that we have not gotten to yet, but the module is up and running an in production on a few of our sites.
