This seems to happen on the admin/structure/types/manage/volume/display page immediately after disabling or enabling an EVA.

I can't seem to reproduce this error. With no other comments on this issue, I'm closing this issue as 'cannot reproduce' in the interest of cleaning up the EVA issue queue. If you're still having this issue, please re-open with as many details as you have.
