This patch makes possible to make available to Drupal.settings object the full purl object, in order to make purl redirect possible from javascript.

Dude... That is totally the wrong patch file for that, looks like it belongs to #608916: Allow global purl disable by url or context (or other factors possibly). I was looking for this too, and would be willing send in a patch, though you've probably already got it going, just need to upload the correct one.

Yep, that's more like it! Works for me, sweet and simple, thank you.

Though I don't normally call myself a "community", I would say this has been tested, and is really only a no-interference 2 line addition, and incredibly useful to us JavaScript URI builders. Lets get it moving in!

i changed the patch because only the provider was available and not the whole object with ID.
