Can one comment (actual Drupal comment) to a node from activity stream where the number of comments shown will be an admin determined number eg. 2 or 4 or 5 with 'see more'?
This feature is present in Heartbeat. If it is here is there any demo site please?

Not currently possible although there's no theoretical reason why not -- it's just that the tokens to do it don't exist right now.

Hi there! Thanks IceCreamYou. Currently Heartbeat is doing this using tokens. In Heartbeat demo what I find :

Nodes can be commented using the comment form with node -> they will show up in heartbeat stream
Nodes cam be commented from the heartbeat stream -> they will show up in the node as well as stream
Number of comments to show and where to place the comment box in the stream can be specified by admin
