There has been some discussion regarding the provided channels in NodeStream core. The ones bundled with NodeStream right now is:
* NodeStream Newspaper channel
* NodeStream RSS Channel
* NodeStream Blog channels
These three features provides usable end-user products in their own right, and therefore deserve their own project. This means that theses features can be developed more independently from NodeStream and emphasizes NodeStreams role as a distribution platform rather than a ready-to-go distribution in itself.
There are few projects being worked on in sandboxes. Among them are:
* NodeStream intranet
* NodeStream Enterprise website
These projects should, when they are ready, also become their own projects. By doing this separation we can use NodeStream for a very wide array sites.
This is meta issue will track the work done in this area.

fabsor commentedAll the products are now outside of NodeStream. We still have to figure out if we are going to distribute NodeStream with or without them, but I think this can be safely closed for now.
